1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website gibmove.hu and all logistics services provided by Gibmove Hungary Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (hereinafter "Gibmove Hungary Kft", "the Company", "we", "us").

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Gibmove Hungary Kft provides the following logistics services in accordance with Hungarian and EU regulations:

  • Courier and postal services (NACE 5320) — tracked parcel and document delivery within Hungary and internationally.
  • Road freight transport (NACE 4941) — FTL and LTL cargo transportation by road.
  • Warehousing and storage (NACE 5210) — managed storage and inventory services.
  • Logistics services (NACE 5225) — full-cycle supply chain management.
  • Cargo handling (NACE 5224) — loading, unloading, and freight handling.
  • Removal services (NACE 4942) — professional relocation and moving services.

3. Order Placement & Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when the Company accepts your order in writing (email or platform confirmation). We reserve the right to decline any order without providing a reason.

All prices are quoted in Hungarian Forints (HUF) or Euros (EUR) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. A formal invoice will be issued for all completed services.

4. Liability & Cargo Insurance

The Company's liability for lost or damaged cargo is governed by the CMR Convention (for international road transport) and applicable Hungarian law.

We strongly recommend cargo insurance for high-value shipments. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Claims for damaged or lost cargo must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery (visible damage) or 14 days (concealed damage).

5. Client Obligations

The client is responsible for providing accurate shipment details, including correct dimensions, weight, content declaration, and recipient information. Incorrect declarations may result in additional charges.

The client warrants that all goods tendered for transport comply with applicable laws and do not constitute prohibited items (hazardous materials, illegal goods).

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments are subject to statutory interest under Hungarian Act V of 2013 (Civil Code).

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Any disputes arising shall be resolved by the competent Hungarian courts, with jurisdiction at the registered seat of the Company.

For consumer disputes, the client may also contact the competent Regional Arbitration Body (Területi Választottbíróság) as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
